Advice from a great grandmother.. Things the kids have taught me which are valuable lessons. Listen to what they have to say.Listen to their thoughts opinions and ideas.even if different from you.Listen to their perceptions and understanding of life with open minds and open hearts. They dont always want advice.But they want you to listen to them it creates a closer bond abd a deeper understanding of them.and who knows. By listening to them they may listen to you.or they may open your hearts and minds and help you to grow with them.sonetimes the hardest thing to do is to listen.Listen to music with them ask them to explain what you may not understand or hear or see.They dont want judgement they want acceptance. Somethings are just fads they may outgrow.but the one thing they will never outgrow from wanting. Is a parent that listens.Most importantly remember its their life not yours.their dreams not yours to find and live.their love choice not yours. Be there for your kids but at the end of the day remember its their life .not yours and let go...Bonus..Stay in thr loop and it will also make you feel and seem younger too.
